Case: content blog
The scenario
A blog with 200+ articles. Focus keywords exist on some posts but not all. Internal linking is manual and inconsistent — most posts are only linked from category archives.
Step 1 — Fill the gaps
Run Auto Focus Keyword on all posts and pages. The plugin identifies the 60-70% of articles without focus keywords and populates them from titles. Review the top 20 most-visited posts and adjust keywords manually where needed.
Step 2 — Create the link network
Run Automatic Internal Links. The plugin creates links between articles that share keyword themes. Blog posts about related topics are now connected through contextual anchor links in the body text.
Expected impact
Orphan pages drop significantly. Average page depth decreases. Related content becomes discoverable through inline links (not just navigation or widgets). Older evergreen content receives renewed attention from both users and crawlers.
